November 2010: ItalyTraveller’s new Experiences

italytraveller

ItalyTraveller’s Experiences for November focus on a number of the country’s major cities, starting with the waterways of Milan, Florence and Rome, and Catania’s spectacular Stanze In Fiore garden. Whilst wine connoisseurs will love the trip to Trentino’s Cantine Ferrari, foodies will find it hard to choose between a few lessons at Milan’s Cucina Italiana cooking school and a gourmet vacation at Venice’s Hotel Cipriani.

November is a great month to take a break in the Italian capital and to visit Rome’s MAXXI and MACRO: the city’s brand new contemporary art museums. Art historians will be loathe to miss the “Great Venetians. From Pisanello to Titian, from Tintoretto to Tiepolo” exhibition, currently on display in Rome’s Chiostro del Bramante. After a morning devoted to art, what could be better than a relaxing ritual in the Acanto Day Spa, the luxurious wellness center located within steps of the Pantheon?
